Underfoot Feel
The On Cloudsurfer features CloudTec Phase cushioning. To explain further, the cut-outs in the midsole change in orientation. This unique design optimises your weight transfer from landing to toe-off. The result? An incredibly smooth underfoot experience.
As the On Cloudsurfer Running Shoes don't feature a Speedboard, they feel very soft and forgiving. If you're looking for maximum step-in comfort, these won't disappoint.
Upper Fit
The On Cloudsurfer upper feels light, breathable and very comfortable. In our experience, it has an accommodating toe box. By this, we mean it suits a broader foot shape.
If you're interested, the Cloudsurfer's yarn is coloured using dope dyeing. This requires 90% less water than standard processes.
Ideal Run Type
In our opinion, the On Men's Cloudsurfer Running Shoes are perfect for slow paced runs and easy miles. That's because the CloudTec Phase cushioning feels ultra soft and incredibly smooth underfoot. The protective midsole should also work well for longer distances.
For the avoidance of doubt, the On Cloudsurfer may feel good on some steadier to faster efforts. However, as it doesn't feature a Speedboard, you'll probably find the midsole lacks some responsiveness.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
